FIRST P DAY IN CANADA
I arrived in Canada last Wednesday. It is good to finally be here! Today is my first Pday in the field. My Pdays are on Mondays now. We've had a busy morning of grocery shopping and getting ready for the week. We don't have a car in the city so we ride the train and the bus to the grocery store and it takes forever but it is a good opportunity to meet and talk to people. It rains here a lot! But, I guess that's why it is so green and beautiful. My first week has been going well, it's been a little hard getting used to it here but I've liked most of it so far.
My companion is Elder Pereira. He is from Brazil and our other two roommates are Elder Stark, and Elder Hong. Elder Hong and Elder Pereira love to cook so they do a lot of the cooking. I have gotten to eat a lot of Chinese and Brazilian food. My trainer and I are opening a new area and we have found a few people that are interested in learning more. The people in the city are very diverse. It's way cool to meet people from all over the world. I'm doing well and I'm working hard. It's hard to be away from home but I know I am where I am supposed to be right now.
