BEAUTIFUL VANCOUVER
Hello everybody! Things have been sunny in Vancouver until today, the sun was out, we had a cool lunar eclipse, and then today was foggy and mist rained all day, but it's fine because it's really pretty as well.
I got a haircut today and it turned out better than the one that the other Elder gave me so I'm glad, not that the other one was bad though. We got our transfer calls on Sunday and I am staying in Vancouver so that's exciting! And today is my last day for being the best Elder Greenie in the mission field.
The teaching is going well and we actually have some lessons with people now. We are teaching two kids that are part of a less active,part member family. And I feel like I've finally figured out how to help them, they both have Baptism dates for February 2nd so we will see how that goes.
I've talked to a few homeless people while street contacting and have had some interesting experiences with that. But I have also met some really cool people. It's great to see the hand of God in my life everyday and I'm glad that I stick out because of my height so people see me easily and it has opened a lot of opportunities. So even though I'm not good at basketball my height is useful with other things.
