LAND ROVERS, BBQ'S & BEARS

Hey everybody! This week has been Exciting! here are a few highlights.

We have lately been doing work in a area where the people are kind of spread out a little more and drove past a guy that had a bunch of old land rovers outside. We decided it would be a good place to knock. We talked with him about the Land Rovers for a little bit and then about prophets and the message we share. He said the world certainly needs help right now and invited us to come back tomorrow!

Another day we were out visiting some members up there and decided to knock some houses around the area. as we were walking towards one of the houses a guy pulled into his driveway with a BBQ in the back of his truck and I said to Elder Mckay that we should go help him unload it. We walked up the driveway and asked him if he needed help with the BBQ. He was a little hesitant at first but then figured out that he would need help unloading it. It was a cool thing to be in the right place at the right time and a good lesson on why we need to listen to the spirit. 

Another cool thing that happened was that a guy that is married to a lady in our ward who has been coming to church for 7 years decided to get baptized. He has been meeting with missionaries for a long time but has always been hesitant to be baptized and has told missionaries to stop visiting when he feels to much pressure for it. He really likes Star Wars so the last time we met him we said that he could be baptized on Saturday May 4th and he said he would choose when on his own time. When we met with him yesterday we talked about the priesthood and how it would bless his family and shared a talk from President Nelson about time running out. He sat there for a few minutes in silence and then said " well May the 4th is a good day, lets do it" which was completely out of character for him. We felt the spirit so strong and are super excited for him. 

We also saw two bears in someones backyard yesterday and it was way cool!
