Hay is for missionaries, not just horses

Hey Everybody! Sorry I have been a prodigal son at emailing
Things have been going well in Vanderhoof, the members are very willing to work with us and a lot of them are working to do missionary work on their own too. I have been trying to get everyone's names down which is a little tricky since everybody seems to have the same last name. We are starting to get in contact with some part member families now and are working to set up appointments with them. People are pretty busy at this time of year working to get ready for winter so we are trying to find service opportunities to be able to help out.

We had someone that we found come out to church with us this week and the members were very accepting of her. The member that gave her a ride even had a Book of Mormon and Pamphlets in his car that he gave to her.  We were able to teach a Skype lesson with the Branch President in Smithers to a person his wife found last night and it went really well. I have been doing good and love the opportunities we find to connect and serve with the people.

We also were able to help a member with putting tarps over his big bales of hay so we had to get up on top of all the stacks to get the tarp over. It was lots of fun and Me and Elder Morrison got to run around on the lower bales. There are lots of good people here and lots of old trucks so I am loving it.

Something I have started to do lately is mark direct quotes from the Lord in the Book of Mormon. I have found that the Lord finds it very important that we know that he loves us, it is one of the first things he brings up when people seek him out and look for an answer. I know God loves each one of us and focuses on the good that we do and appreciates all of our effort, he never sells us short. I hope all of you have a fantastic week!
