ONLY HALF DEAD

Hey Everybody!

Sorry I have been so absent lately, I don't really have much of a good excuse.

Things have been crazy this last transfer. I got a new companion that I was training at the beginning of it and then he got a concussion and had to go home until he recovers. So while we were figuring that out we were stuck inside for a week so he could rest and were back and forth talking with President Whalen. I think that this transfer I have talked with President more than the rest of my time only mission put together. He is a really good guy though and handles all of the situations that come his way really well. We are lucky to have him. 

So anyway because my companion had to go home I got a new companion that was supposed to go to the Singapore mission but since the Corona Virus has been going around there it got shut down for a little. So I have had two companions to train this Transfer, there was a week when my old companion was in Limbo mode and my new companion was here so it was weird trying to figure everything out and the members are super confused and accused me of breaking all my companions. 

We had a soup kitchen that we volunteered at this week which was pretty fun. We showed up and started to help get stuff ready for it until the person who was in charge of assignments showed up. When they got there they told me and my companion that they wanted us to be at the door greeting people and hopefully because of my size it would discourage people from being unruly. We met a lot of cool people there and it is too bad to see them in poor circumstances but we are glad to find ways to help a little. 

Other than that some of the Highlights were:

1 One night it rained so much that we were soaked to the core and kept making jokes that we arent allowed to go swimming but being out in that rain we pretty much were

2 There was a short old lady that could not get over how tall I was, she wasnt interested I'm having us teach her, but she talked with us for 15 minutes about how I am a giant

3 Temple P-day got cancelled because the Temple is closed to prevent sickness

That's pretty much it. Sorry I have been so bad about emails, I am going to be better though!
